I seen at autozone they have a magnetic wand thingy with a mirror and magnetic tray that you could probably use... only $9.99.

To the picture, you might want to make sure he's fishing for something valuable... would hate to catch a Honda when I'm fishing for a Lamborghini...

Also... anyone notice the long shaped sun-roof or is it just me?

I know it's Subaru, but it's the only pics I could find that show the intake manifold going to the valves...

Apparently, that's where it goes. Lucky for us though, our engines are stood up, not laying down like the boxer. Aren't you glad you don't own a Subaru now? :D

hmm well i just need to go somewhere and find a small magnet....if this dont work im just going to forget about and drive the car.. unless anyone has anymore ideas, or tips.

yes, at the end of the manifold 1.5" later are valves.

did you ever get them out?

I completely forgot about this at the time but you wouldn't have to remove the entire intake manifold. on the 420a cars the manifold is 2 pieces. you could remove the top piece and then you should be able to get the tweezers much easier

yeah, i did get them out.. but they were covered in a completely dark black powder. like carbon build up or something. should that happen if it is just in the intake??
