Due to a recent storm dropping something really heavy on my trunk and leaving a deep dent I am in the need for a trunk lid.

Where in the world can I get these? Not really looking for CF but if that is all there is...

That's your only option is to wait for a junkyard to get one, unless you want to go to a Mitsubishi dealership and get raped for a new trunk lid. Otherwise just keep waiting for a junkyard to get one, or spend the same amount as a dealer would charge you and go Carbon Fiber.

how bad????
Grind it down
To pull the dent stud it and pull the stress buckle so you can knock it down.
Get polyester putty and hardener,150 grit and 80 grit.
then have it painted.
Do not do if metal is cut dent meaning intact.

There is a gouge in the truck, almost a rip.

Anyone know of a place that sells fiberglass or carbon fiber lids for reasonable?

I take it that you don't have comprehensive insurance.

Google what you're looking for and see what company sells them. Check www.andysautosport.com for an idea of price and styles(if they have any). But don't order anything from there cause they are not a trustworthy website. Once you get the idea for prices, ask SC for a site he would recommend ordering from and see what he says.

I found one for $1300. I dont know what your deductible is but I would rather pay the $250 (my deductible) instead of $1300.

Not a bad deal at all. Wish I lived anywhere near there. I am close to Morgantown WV.

Thanks for looking though.

I saw a CF trunk on ebay but was not positive if a standard trunk would fit the 02 Spyder and did not want to risk buying sub par items.
