I heard about this from another forum, and then I called Rally Armor earlier this afternoon. I been confirmed that by the end of this week, mud flaps for 08+ Lancer will be available. They already got some in-stock, but they're still waiting for some shipment; therefore be patience until they update their website. The representative on the phone also confirmed that the first shipment of mud flaps will be only available in Urethane form. Basic mud flaps will then be available later this Fall around September. QUOTE(lancerpower4b11 @ Jul 30 2008, 11:57 AM) Why dont you do this yourself? Has instructions on how to. And you will feel more accomplished about yourself and can also make a DIY for us future buyers of this product. Besides it can be that hard to get those suckers on. I'm not a D.I.Y type of person when it comes to car. I know nothing about it therefore I don't want to risk it on my new car. Beside, the Rally Armor website also recommend to have a professional to install it so I'm just taking their advice. :P The only thing I'm very comfortable on D.I.Y is computer.

Expand your horizons man! I was just like you... I knew nothing about DIY's, but I started on computers. Started as a simple processor upgrade and now I build them up from scratch! Now, I do all the DIY stuff on my car. I mean, come on... just take them out of the packaging and LOOK, not install, just LOOK how the installation process would normally go. It's always good to know how to do things yourself. I had no idea how the to install a CAI... but I did it. Just "pretend" you're a Mitsu tech and you are installing it for a customer... from your own house... and you aren't getting paid for it... and the Lancer you are working on is oddly familiar...

I don't mind if you ask me to install a CAI on YOUR car because it's not mine but if it's mine, I think it's kind of scary...

QUOTE(psycho2003 @ Jul 31 2008, 11:39 AM) it doesnt look too bad... but they still look a little funny. If you see the ones from the dealership (that can only be put on the rear of a GTS) they have some more 'meat' to them and dont stick out as far.... but I will probly just end up getting these. Thanks for the post and pics. I think it is by design to have these mud flaps to stick out to have a wider protection.
