so, i replaced my 02 sensor (brand new), no boost leaks, filled up my tank to the tip top from E, I calculated the MPG it SAYS 22.95 which is normal for the car, however, 170 to the tank? Is it possible the regulator sinks in the tank showing me an inaccurate amount of gas? Even when the red light comes on? I dont gun it, the only mods are a downpipe, FMIC, exhaust, short ram, it's no evo just yet, but im getting about the same mileage, but numbers show different. I don't understand whats going on? Help?
I drove home from san diego to Orange county where i live, 60 miles there (On a full tank mind you), then through black star canyon to get home and side streets, 100.4 miles. I filled it back up to full, took 20 bucks, on 91 octane of course, and it showed 4.4 gallons to fill at 100 miles.
100 miles divided by 4.4 = 22.75 mpg, rounded to about 23.0 That wouldnt change over time? in a 13 gallon tank, itd be 300 miles exactly
in a 15.9/ 16.0 gallon tank, itd be 368 miles to the tank
im getting 170 before the light comes on, in a 13 gallon tank, id be getting 13 mpg
in a 16 gal, 10.5 mpg, which is starting to look correct ,HELP Also, what size is a 95 GSX tank, just to do math correctly, any responses ASAP would be GREATLY appreciated Mike

Actually the eagle talon TSI AWD has a 16.9 gallon tank, no not 15.9 but 16.9, all the eagles talons are 1 gallon bigger than the GSX tank, so its about 17 gallons, i did the math right, you dont add up both sums, you divide the mileage by the amount of gas to fill it, 4.4 gallons is no half tank, its about 1/4 and its 22.95 mpg, which IS normal, i believe its just not sending correctly

http://www.mitsubishisucks.com/cars/recall...pse-spyder.htmlAnyways, essentially, Mitsubishi is none to bright when it comes to fuel delivery. There seems to be multiple recalls on leaking gaskets, leaking lines, improper hose connection 'molding' which I assume is the male piece that you would slide the hose on... So it could be any number of those problems... Also, Pwee's response in highly relevant and not off topic, because if you are asking for your 1G auto, someone more experienced in those would be able to help you. Also, the same problems that an Eclipse had, might not be wrong in an Eagle Talon, so that would help in pinpointing your problem. Also, quite a few people swear they have the GSX, but they start complaining about idle problems, and someone tells them to check their turbo, and they go, "duh... what's that? Where is it? Which panel in the trunk do I take off first to change my air filter?" Not saying you are one of those people, but you have to understand that those type of people do exist, and you must forgive someone for their snyde remarks or puzzled responses.
