Hi, I recently purchased a 2002 Lancer es. The car is in all around good condition with only small chips here and there on the bumpers and a small dent that looks like it could begin rusting sooner or later maybe 5,000 miles or so. The car has 89,000 miles on it and is an automatic, its dark blue as you'll see in the pictures and its a car that was driven in Florida for the most of its life. I live up in New England so the car will see snow in the next couple years to follow and I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions as to what I could spend money on to make the car look better like as well as perform better without altering the MPG or if so bettering it at the same time....

i spent about 4500 on the car...and wouldnt mind throwing a 1,000-1,500 more into it but i wanna spend it in the right places to make the car all around look and perform a little better...any suggestions? where and what type of parts are worth looking into?...thnx
