I'll start with my biggest pain in the butt....
My 91 ATX AWD Twin Turbo 3000GT. I had the car delivered to me from Ft. Lauderdale, FL about 2 and 1/2 years ago. I went through 2 or 3 auto trannies, and gave up. Instead of doing the smart thing, and selling it, I dumped a crap load of money into it, and had it converted to AWD and Twin Turbo, while having it remain automatic :) (hey, what can I say, I wanted to drive my car with stiletto's!!) Unfortunately, about 2 months after completing the conversions, I melted a piston racing my friend, and the car has been parked out back of the garage for nearly 2 years now. :(

Here's a few pictures of it:

(IMG:http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d111/3Scar/91%20beige%20SL/P1010025_resize.jpg)

(IMG:http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d111/3Scar/91%20beige%20SL/P1010040_resize.jpg)

This is my 91 Stealth Twin Turbo. It did have 13g/15g turbos and a built engine. However, it's now down for the count, getting td05 evo3 16g's, and a 6spd swap. This car has not seen the road in probably 2 years or so as well. This should be back on the road in time for winter. I also have a 2g stealth rear end to install, and a greddy single shot exhaust (being swapped over from my ATX AWD TT). I don't have any recent pictures, but it really hasn't changed much at all. It's still pretty much bone stock looking.

(IMG:http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d111/3Scar/Vr4vsTT0_stealth.jpg)

And this is my most recent acquisition. my 95 Spyder SL. She most DEFINITELY has her quirks, but I can't help but love it! The front bumper and hood are temporary, it's the only spare parts we had laying around that would fit on the car, in a pinch. (we were leaving for vacation in 3 days, and needed to get a front bumper and hood on the car, and painted ASAP! we used what we had). Those are coming off this winter when I put it down for a complete tear down and repaint, and more stock-appearing body panels are going on the car. I want to twin turbo it as well, Hans doesn't want me to. We'll see... I usually win!

(in that picture is also Hans' 97 3000GT base that we daily drove for about a year. that car will be listed for sale soon).

Hmmm. I should close this thread Emm. Stop bragging about all your cool cars. Wait, how the hell do you afford to keep them all? I guess doing all the work with Hanz is a major bonus. That 91 has a very tidy engine bay.

thank you :) I spent a lot of time cleaning that engine bay. I posted some before and after pictures on here I think at one point.

LOL I paid I think $1200 for the 91 SL (beige one), and I had an entire parts car that I used all of the AWD and Turbo parts from. The AWD ATX trans cost me $600, plus labor (the most expensive part).

The spyder... I got for a killer deal on e-bay back in March, and only have about... $700 invested for the paint work, plus the cost of shipping from oklahoma.

The 91 stealth TT... I inherited from my dad when he died last January. It already had the built engine and 13g/15g turbos, and I recently bought a parts car, and that's where the 6spd is coming from, and I'm buying the evo3 set-up from Hans (for a little less than what he paid from IPS, since they're slightly used, I don't get a discount on those!!).

So... I don't have as much invested as you'd think. And they're cars I've acquired over the years with money I made from my sales. Just smart investing, really. Every car I buy, I buy as an investment. And even with all the work into them (not including the stealth from my dad), I'll make money on when/if I sell.

.... and it doesn't hurt that my boyfriend owns the shop that works on them :)

yea, it's a greddy. I absolutely LOVE the sound!! It has a nice mellow tone. not that droning sound on the highway, a nice growl when I give it gas, but at the same time it's pretty quiet while cruising.

I have a video of the car somewhere. I'll dig it up and post it so you can hear what it sounds like :)

Pay me back first, and then maybe I'll let you buy the spyder for yourself ;)

The only problem at the moment is a small oil leak near the oil cooler. It's currently doing daily-driver duty, so i make sure nip problems in the butt ASAP.

BTW, Emily, i know i asked you before, but how did you get ahold of that SR ATX tranny?

haha I post as Hans every now and again too.

Your Vr4 looks CLEEEEAN!!!! :haha:

I got mine through a shop in Canada. but they're on e-bay every now and again. I'll be putting that car up for sale shortly :( No sense in having a highly modified stealth, a Spyder, and Hans and I just bought a 92 Diamante as a daily driver, AND the ATX AWD. Too many. LOL

I actually overpaid for my ATX AWD trans :( AND on top of paying too much, it didn't have a working reverse. Whatever though. **** happens. haha

BTW, here's the video of the car, ripping up and down the street... EMC - I thought I had a video of the car with the single shot exhaust on... I guess I swapped it on after this.
