I recently purchased on '05 AWD Endeavor and am wondering how "Adaptive Shift Control" works? My understanding from reading other posts in this forum is that the computer learns my driving style and adjusts the shift points accordingly.

What can I do to train the computer to maximize the fuel efficiency (I try to drive as gently as possible)? Is there something I need to do to make it "forget" the previous driver in case they had a lead foot?

Thanks in advance!

the only way is to use a mitsubishi scan tool.
or just drive it. it will adapt. dont worry about it.
the truth is, you're not gonna get great mileage no matter what.
