hey guys, being that this is my second post on the forum i wanted to gather some quick info on my new ride. i picked up a 99 GSX with 142,XXX on it, completely stock and runs real well. i've changed the oil, plugs and air filter right off the bat. i can do basic maintenance but other that that i don't do much work on cars. i'm looking for info on blow off valves, exhaust, and intakes. this is really the only mods i have in my budget at the time. any gsx owners please chime in and let me know of any problems i may be facing or just any knowledge that could be useful to myself concerning my eclipse. thanks -matt

Some advice would be to learn as much as you can before you start doing anything to your car outside of regular maintenance.

The search function like Bueshy mentioned is the first place to start. it is in the upper right hand corner of the page and just type in what you are looking for. If something doesn't pop up right away try modifying your search. Most of the time acronyms are used instead of typing out the entire word or phrase.

Ex.
blow off valve - search - no results
bov - search - results

Also, read the pinned topics. Especially the FAQ. It will answer most of your questions

your car is almost 10 years old. if you search around you can find all the information that you need. these cars are the last of its kind.
