Hey guys, I just joined the forums as I just purchased my first Mitsubishi Eclipse GT from California (I live in Canada).
Sofar the power's been great but one problem i have with the car is the speedometer LEDs... It's not bright enough at night, now my older car had a knob that could change the brightness but I havent found one yet
Noobie question, I know, but I dont have a car manual and the dealership wants to shoot me whenever I mention the car was purchased in the U.S! :P
Also, I gotta change the odometer from miles to kms and one of them told me I gotta reprogram it and somebody else (same dealership) said I gotta change the cluster and pay 900 bucks!! Anyone has any experience with that?
Oh, and daytime running lights... Do all the Eclipses come with that feature, I need to have it enabled to pass the importation inspection.... :(
Thanks alot

The brightness knob is also the odometer button to switch from regular to trip 1 and 2. Instead of pushing it you turn it.
Your probably going to have to replace the cluster.
And yes they have daytime running lights.
Oh and welcome.
