Yes,I did do the search but i couldnt find the answer to my problem,i have a 93 Mitsu Eclipse 5sp 2.0 NT fwd.I have no nightime illumination to my dash or hvac.I didnt put in an aftermarket stereo,or do anything to the wiring, I just got into the car one day and they didnt work I removed the gauge cluster and hand checked every bulb with a meter. All bulbs check good. I have replaced EVERY fuse under the dash AND under the hood. The head lights work on low and high, the four way flashers work, the tail lights work, The turn signals work front and rear, the stop lamps work, and all marker lights work front and rear. All indicator lights in the dash work, but NO illumination to the gauges or HVAC controls! Ive even bought a new reostat! this is driving me crazy, any of you DSM gurus can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I was working on my stereo the other day (1g Talon TSI), and I had the same situation. Everything on the dash was still working, the gages, etc. and my headlights, tail lights, blinkers, and I believe my side markers... but the illumination on my dash just stopped working.
Like you, I checked every fuse under the dash, and found no problems... but, I did find a small 10 amp fuse under the hood on the passenger side of the car that was burned out. It was in the big black relay/fuse box next to the battery, and was indicated as "TAIL". I changed the fuse and everything worked fine.
Hope this helps.
