I am installing a 2.8L 4M40 TDI 1996 engine in a Montero Sport 2002, I am having problems with the electronic or electrical connection of the fuel injeccion Pump, the pump comes with three sockects, the problems is that some people says that this engine needs a ECU, but the dealer says that the connections are for pump fuel selenoid and EGR control via others selenoids, I live en Honduras and is imposible to get a diagrams, even the dealer said they do not have it, I do not believe it, I have the manual for this engine but the electronic is not well covered, so I will thanks if any of you can facilitate me a file or an address with the electronic and vaccun connections for the fuel injection pump, intercooler and EGR or any additional information that you believe will be helpfull.
