I'd have to say the Cadillac, but depends on the Caddy. Also depends if the Caddy has had some work done to it. I mean you can crank atleast a good 700 to 800hp out of a Caddilacs Northstar, with an equal amount of torque. One that would pass the 10 sec mark on the quarter with no problem. But a stock Caddy either the STS, Eldorado, or XLR (All three the beefy Cad's of them all) would slam the competition. Even though the caddy weighs a considerable amount more then an Eclipse, the caddy would still beat it. But look at it this way, are they remote controlled or are there drivers? Cause it's not the car...It's the driver.

But I'd pick the Eclipse over the Catera, cause the Catera is only a V-6 that weighs close to the Eclipse, but is only crnaking atleast 170hp or less, not sure. But again...It's the driver not the car, I mean a stock muscle car (i.e Charger, 442, Cutlass, etc.) could take down a LeMans Lamborghini Diablo if the driver was better.

Get to the line and race him instead of asking on the internet. then tell us how it went.

There are so many variables here it's not even funny. We know squat about either driver, or car. ****, one could have a miss on a cylinder and three bald tires. you can't call this from XXX miles away on the internet. especially on the street, where you can't even use track times for the stock cars. Everything is different on the street.

The V6 in the Catera is from Saab. It is not a Northstar, those are the 4.4L V8's.
