Hi all,

I got P0421 error report in the OEM BRAND :DOMESTIC at autozone today . I own 2002 Mitsubishi Galant ES.

and the report says

Definition :- Catalyst efficiency low bank 1

Description :- The oxygen sensors monitor the catalytic converters ability to store oxygen.

Is this a major/Serious problem ? Do i need to fix it immediately ? will the problem be fixed permanently if i fix it now ?
