Hey all, I'm having problems with my 1992 Mitsubishi Magna Tr.

Basically, I went to replace my stock cassete player with a CD head unit.

Although the new head unit is working fine, my dash light, and parking lights (back tail lights and front dimmer lights) are not working. They stopped working while I was fiddling around with the wires, connecting the audio up.

I did notice that while I was connecting the wires, the dash light flickered on and of for a few seconds, I don't know if that helps.

I have checked all my fuses, they're all fine, no other lights (that I know of) are playing up, just the parking lights and the dash.

If you any one could help me out ASAP I would be so relieved.

Thanks.

Seemes like yu have crossed the "dimmer" wire that goes to the deck. Possibly shorted it. Some aftermarket decks have a dual dimmer feature , which yu most likely in this case have maybe burned the lighting module for the interior light dimmer . There is a fuse for the interior lights , odd it isnt burned.
