I was curious if anyone had ever run out of gas? My wife always waits until the low fuel light comes on to get a fill up, sometimes a little after the fact but it never takes more than 13 gal to fill it back up. Could it really have 4 gal left in it or is it a smaller tank than listed as??

my 96 gs is the same way. The low fuel light comes on and I have 4 gallons left.

According to an online owner's manual I found for your car you are supposed to have a 17.7 gallon tank. You just haven't let it go far enough to hit your reserve tank.
