You really haven't stated a problem. Was the gauge on 0? If so check your oil. If theres any there, your gauge is fked

check the wire on the sending unit. it might have broken or fallen off. it's the mushroom shaped object on the oil filter housing

I haven't had a gauge "give out" on my 1g but it does like to come unplugged every now and then. Gives me a nice scare to see the oil gauge on 0 when im at 15 lbs of boost... :gitara:

I had the same problem on my 2g... simple fix.. plug the wire back in on the sending unit... nuthin to worry about..

When i looked under my car, i saw it hangin there, and found the only logical place that it could plug into, and would fit.. lol... Fixed the issue.

There is also a place under the dash which the wires likes to come unplugged from. Look under your dash for a small black box. I have had the wire come unplugged from there too.

Oh yeah, and one other thing. When you go to slip the sending wire back on, stick in an ice pic and pry that little contact back out a little that way it will stay on... or a zip tie works pretty good, that's what's been holing mine on for years now...

Also, don't worry about having any problems with it. Just listen to it to make sure it doesn't tick more than usual, and there is also a yellow/orange light on the dask that will come on once is looses too much pressure. It's not attached to the sender wire... guess that's a good thing.
