i have recently purchased this vehicle and for some reason it is spraing oil from the dip stick... it is a manual... i don"t know what to do

I heard somewhere that the pcv valve can cause this issue..... Anybody else heard of this? It's like an $11 part, if you want to go get one to try.

no its not scary its cool. pop open the hood and tell your friends what you can do with your car. and have a contest who can shoot there dipstick the farest and highest

Yeah, I have to get a new dipstick as well. The finger hole (the one you pull on to take it out) broke off. The end of it with the o-ring is still hanging on though, lol. Got a pair of needle-nose pliers in my car to pull it out. HAHA!

Mine doesnt has the stock one, last wekend my mech was testing it and we noticed a lot of smoke under the hood, when we opened there, there was oil everywhere, the dipstick is leaking oil at high rpm's and sprayed all the motor, one problem is that I dont have the timing belt covers... Also the mouth of the hole isnt round, it is like and oval, probably that helped the problem... Lol
