3 weeks ago my check engine light came indicating Code 14 Trottle Position Sensor which I replaced & adjusted & code 14 still comes on. I first mis-read code as 23 thinking it was the Crank Position Sensor (Duh - thanks for your help on that one guys), so replaced CPS & adjusted timing & have checked & cleaned & replaced everything, plugs, wires, sensors, MAF, you name it. Car always starts and runs rough & shaky w/o power. Compression is 147, 151, 148, 155 PSI & I got spark & fuel. Plugs get black & sooty, so it running rich. I'm thinking its the TPS wiring or harness. I've cleaned many electrical terminals & connectors. If anyone has "been there and done that" please reply. Thanks.

Its the ECM. I had it rebuilt 3 years ago and will have to do so again. A tough lession, but I'm learning. The ECM can send fault codes and you go looking for them and find everyhing functions well after replacing numrous parts and conclude its a faulty ECM. I got Fault Code 41. There was no continuity on one of the injector circuits, but the injector, harness, terminals and wires checked out fine, so ECM for that circuit appears to be faulty (C-66).

Just for reference for everyone else or if that doesnt fix your problem.I replaced my tps and you need to check to see if the sensor is within its perameters.I bought one straight out of the box that was faulty.its all those checp mexico products we get.
