Hello,

I own a new Triton L 200 (2008 Thai model) and want to use the 12V accessory socket without ACC or Ignition (switchable) but with a under voltage protection for can use a cooling box after have left the car.
Now I am looking for a wiring diagram of this socket or someone who knows if this socket is connected with the power supply over a separate relay and if yes where is it ?

If the connection with the power supply is only over a common relay (switched by ACC or Ignition) and/or a fuse (fuse no. 6) where would it be the best to connect with the power supply ?

Thx

Alex

Sawasdee , well i ahve done this before , amy guy want to jump the power to keep the 12v power to the socket. But it is not good , it will keep power to many other items.

One way i have done in mine and many other. For my and others i have pulled teh switch out and omited the factory 12 v wire coming in, and re run a seperate wire frum the 12v outlet to the fuse panel. In the upper portion on the fuse panel that are 4 bladed(pin) slots that are there for accessory items. 2 of the pins are power all the time and the other 2 are power just with the key in ACC. I will try to take picture and diagram of how mine are.

Sawasdee to Chiang Mai from Phuket

That sounds good ! :)
I think I know where the connector is, but is the wire strong enough for 10A & is there a fuse between the power supply and this Pin ?

A photo would be perfect.

If you need the Pin connection of the Mitsubishi radio I could send you a PDF.

As i kno of , it is fused , the fuse is in the underhood fuse panel, it fuses that and a few other pins in the inside fuse block. It should be able to withstand 30A , i have mine well hidden and tucked away , but will try to take pic in the morning.

Hello Khun Kit,

sorry thatīs me again - yesterday I wired everything so far that I could switch on on the accessory socket without ignition is turn on, but would have to find a suitable connection for get 12V without ignition - for not have to invent the wheel a second time, it would be great, if you could give me further details about this connection - :liebe011:

I also fitted the undervoltage protector and changed the 2 LEDs (green & red) of this unit in one 3mm duo LED (blue & red, case color is translucent white), which I mounted directly under the accessory socket.
If the socket is switched on by ignition or by hand with the switch and the battery voltage is over 12,5V, the LED shines blue, if the battery voltage is under 11,2V the socket is switched off by relay and the LED shines red - in this way I also can see if the battery is nearly empty without using the socket after switched on the ignition.

Best regards,

Alex

Hello Kit,

I think I found the connector you told me today (see attached photo, itīs the single red cable in the middle).
The connector looks like 4 pin but has only 3 pins.
Upper left :+12V unswitched, fused 10A (fuse 18 "Option")
Upper right : empty
Lower left : ground
Lower right : +12V switched

Iīve changed the fuse to 15A for can use the socket with or without ignition with 10A.

Do you know if itīs possible to order the genuine connector incl. the contacts from the Mitsubishi dealer ?

Best regards from Phuket

Alex
