I have a 2.5ltr twinturbo legnum, now my numb skull girlfren put 91 octane, fuel, petrol, blah blah instead of 96 which i use, in the bloody tank, say about 30 smackers, that filled almost half tank, now will that do serious damage to my engine? yeah blame tha mises:)

any help with this i would be greatful

It should not , but i try always run 97 petrol because they are high compression or turbo. The better octane gives a clean burn and no knock retard as lower grade petrol would. Running a lower grade petrol in a Turbo or higher compression engine yu will burn more petrol and the engine will not be as efficient because of the premature detonation and knock retard running lower grade petrol causes.
