unfortunately my Pass. side front window(power) won't go down ,fortunately it is up,,how much is involved with removing the door panel to inspect,it goes down about 1/2 in. and will go to closed position also so I believe motor is ok but think something has come loose and is blocking window from working properly,any ideas?Thanks for any assistance,,'03 Galant

Just take off the door panel and reposition the window motor rail, it may have come lose or one of the screws holding the window glass came lose too. It should take you about 15-45 minutes to fix the problem, depending on the lose part. I had that problem with my 3000 GT and it was good after that.. :thumbsup:

Just a quick update,I got the panel off easy enough ,but manty other plates and channels in door,could see that the cable had snapped,was able to block window up temporarytook me about 45min to remove and reinstall door panel,checked with dealer ,he wanted $400.+ for part and install,found a back yard body/mech down the road who went to junk yard and pulled one,installed with part and labor,,,$75.00 actually felt it wasn't enough and paid him $100.
