hello guys,
I’m wondering if anyone could provide me with any information about the rims used on the eclipse concept car ?

The tires I`m referring are: 285/30R21 and are used by Mitsubishi on several auto shows. (such as 2008 Detroit Auto Show, Auto Show Switzerland etc)

Im referring to the following rims: http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/company..._ra_large_4.jpg

I do understand that the car still a concept car, however, could you give us some advice regarding the rims? or do u guys know something simular ? I would like to buy somethig like that..

Thank you

PS: perhaps something like that ?

Have you even made an attempt to look for wheels yourself? My guess is no, because the design is fairly common.

try not to take what he says to heart he jumps in alot where he does not have alot of expertiese to make up posts. id say try wheelsnext.com or tirerack.com or just do a search for rim sites to get the name of it then look for them that way.

P.S. for SC Customs

Newb bashing is getting out of control. here's the deal, not everyone on this site is a mechanic, thats why a lot of people are here. when newbs ask questions its because they obviously don't know the answer. but when a person asks a question and 5 different people reply "your dumb for not knowing that," what makes that newb want to stay?

this is NOT OK for the sight and we lose a lot of new people because they don't want to ask questions, scared to recieve a flaming as an answer. i know to a lot of you who work on cars a lot or even as a hobby find the questions funny or annoying, but look at it this way, if your in a different country and can't speak the language would you like help with it or just get laughed at and thrashed for not knowing it.

auto work for a lot of people is like a foriegn language, if you don't know it you just don't, so a little more help and a little less hassle will be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys

The wheels they use on concept cars are generally designed by the company for use on the concept cars. they aren't going to be on the actual car, and they aren't going to be sold.

And Slacker: SC-Customs is trying to avoid having the pages/server mucked up by repeat posts. When someone asks a general question that has been answered by many others, it generally means that they aren't taking the time to research their problem. Why should we spend the time to help someone who doesn't take the time to do some research themselves. Its only bashing if they ask a question that some people consider to be a good question, and the mods get on him for asking a "dumb" question.

He's not bashing, he's moderating. IT'S HIS JOB!

actually he does this often. also i did a search for rims on show cars and came up with nothing so i dont think its a bad question. i post on 2 other forums and i ask probably the stupidest questions even if its the 4th time repeated every one helps no one says why didnt you search. also all he did was just point that out and didnt bother to lift a finger to try to help the member find his answer.

i will get away from other things ill say cause this is not the forum to post and i dont want to get off the subject.

Basically like what was stated you wont find those rims cause they are for concept cars.

You would also need a wide-body kit lol. Check BBS, they make alot of rims that resemble that style. They are really expensive though.
