no there is no way to connect anything to the top, i cant even solder anything because there is nothing to solder on on the top of the part. How much you think that will run from the dealer???

oh yeah i dont have a mitshu dealer around me for i think about 60 miles, so can i take it to my local dodge dealer..

Local dodge dealer will probably send you to Mitsubishi.

Go into the 3000GT section of this site the click the pinned topic that is titled Useful Information or info.

click the link for OEM parts click the one for cherry hill auto complex, the one in New Jersey. Call them speak with Jeff in parts or service Tell him what you need he'll send it to you at wholesale.

they dont have a part named the "idle closed/open switch" at least that i could find

that's taken directly from the ECU pin out

alright. i found it. but do i really need it. i dont really have $76 to spare? will it hurt anything if i dont run it..

i'll even bet you could find an entire throttle body on ebay for $20 or so and it will have the sensor on it

the only one i could find on ebay was $238, I called a junkyard about 80 miles from me and the would let me go and take it off, just the sensor for $40. so i guess unless anyone else has any ideas i guess i will drive my as s up there and get it.

i talked the guy down to a price of $10, but now my car idles really wierd, the rpms go up and down alot just sitting in the driveway. then when i put it in drive. it acts like it wants to die.

that part needs replaced to be able to diagnose any other idle issue
