Ill start you off with what I know. I bought it from a kid who had it for 2 mos. He got it with no motor and he put one in it, upgraded few turbo things and radiator. Now I know it needs a starter, but when push starting it it will only make noises like running til it gets slow enough and just dies. I am assuming its doing that because its not getting fuel. I havent done much looking into car to check power to fuel pump and make sure thats working but anyone know anything?

the first thing you need to figure out is if there is power. then, did he put a 6-bolt swap in there, performance build, or just an oem replacement 7-bolt?

did he ever get it to run? are all the sensors plugged in?

Not sure, but someone else was running kinda the opposite before. His problem was too much fuel through his injectors, because he had low impedance injectors on a high impedance system, I think it was...

Maybe when the previous owner rebuilt your engine or whatnot, he used high impedance injectors, but only needed low impedance :puzzled:

Just throwin' some **** out there....

ok so got in car this morning and tried starting it, just turned key. Heard this god awful sound sound like metal on metal clinking and clanking ......took starter off, had it checked, its good, got scared lol put starter back on and connected it to wat i thought was back how it was when i took it off. Turned key to start....no starter, just dash lights dim like when you normally start it but no starter engage, so I called service center and had it towed....any suggestions gladly accepted and will update and tell you wat they say

Metal on metal grinding sound could be a bearing. If the engine ran fine hopefully its not a rod bearing.

ya thats wat Im hearing is that it might be bearing.....well heres wat i know I got the car from a kid that put a motor in it. He said and showed me reciepts for all the motor stuff.....head work, bored block, etc. Is there any way that when he put it all together he put something on wrong and messed up bearings? If it is bearing(s) how big of a deal is it?

is he sure it's not just the throwout bearing?

walbro makes a good fuel pump. depending on how much power you want to go for the 190lph or 255lph pump makes a difference.

low pressure could be caused by a few things
1. fuel pump needs rewired
2. fuel pump needs replaced
3. FPR is bad
4. filter is very clogged

.....trusting the guy to know its flywheel and not throw out bearing. Flywheel comes in tommorrow so well see. Ill update when that happens. As for fuel problem.....if it was a stock fuel pump in it could the rewiring problem still be issue? If flywheel doesnt fix I will deal with fuel problem on my own I can replace anything fuel wise myself with quality confidence.

You can either get a rewire kit for you fuel pump (supposed to add 10 more lph) or you can just spend 90 bucks or so and get a wally 190 :D
