Otherwise, if you plan to do it yourself, look for a How-To and practice on spare parts until you're 100% sure you did it right. Keep in mind just because it looks good when you finish, doesn't mean it will last through the changing temperatures from season to season.

Longevity and reliability is key - hence the difference between professional work and amateur work.

every car I own, I custom wrap the headliner and interior. You get the kids who spray paint stuff and destroy perfectly good interiors. post your work man.

ok here is the scoop my dad grew up with this guy that now owns his own custom street rod shop and i have been taking lessons with him for a few months and i have been working on my interior so far the A pillars center console lid the headliner and the back seat panels that have the speakers in them i have all covered in black suede and i just rewrapped my door panels in black vinal and the arm inserts in suede. everything used to be gray and im finding the cure with the help of this guy. he has taught me how to sew and how to do upholstery and is still teaching me. here is a pic of the door panels right after i finished. i did this all by myself too after practicing with him.

Obviously yes - considering the MAJOR component of interior work is uphostering.
