hello i own a 2007 Outlander XLS i have a few questions i cant seem to find an answer for on this forum.

I know you should always wear your seatbelt but most of the time i dont, has anyone found a way to turn off the dinging noise that the Outlander does when your seat belt is not plugged in?!?!?!

Does anyone know the size of the rear wiper?

And can anyone tell me how to change the cabin air filter and where i can purchase a new one at online?

Thanks in advance for any helpful info. :liebe011:

I've seen cheap cabin filters (not OEM, aftermarket) on eBay.

I hate the sound too. But its a safety feature that isn't allowed to be disabled. I suppose you could rip up the dash to disconnect the cable to the speaker wire.

If you look under the seat you will find a cable. Cut that at your own risk though - not sure what it will do.

as far as the cabin filter...its behind the glove box...
how cheap do you want too spend on the air u breathe????
they only need to be changed once a year how cheap is 25 bucks for clean air?

the seatbelt reminder cannot be deactivated its built into a bcm in the dash usually... and as far as cutting wires....that would set off the airbag warning light and would probably void any warranty on related parts and also possibly not allow the bags too go off....

u can just measure the wiper with a tape measure also....or go too any parts store and they can tell you...
