Attached is the official release from Mitsu on the 2009 Ralliart Specs and Options. The Recaro Sport Package according to my dealer insider is going to be officially priced @ $27,050. In the attachment you will see everything you get with this package. Orders will be starting in August and delivery is to be in late November early December. Did not have the color pallete yet, probably most of the GTS colors will be available.

another thank u for the info :liebe011:  :liebe011: . i f someone gets an insurance quote pleez post. my only question....at that price, why not just buy an evo? i'm not sure the price of the new evo but i can't see it being too much more. when the RA was originally introduced in (correct if i'm wrong) 2004 it wasn't even $20K. it wasn't nearly as quick (non-turbo, FWD, 5 spd), but the price made it worth settling for rather than buying an evo. am i the only broke-ass who feels this way?

No, you`re not.
But that doesnt matter, some simply do not want to pay high insurance and high maintenance costs of buying an evo.
Some simply do not want hardcore perfomance, hardcore adrenaline and vibrations all day long.
So, some will care about a daily driver that has features galore , very nice perfomance but very comfortable as well, with more miles per gallon.

Well with the same options on the GSR it retails for $35,665, that is an $8615 difference and the insuarance is probably thru the roof on the GSR. I think the $27,050 price tag is pretty damn good deal for everything you get. JMO

But the question is... How does it compare to the WRX.

I like the lancer look better but can it take sales away from sube.

I think the RA will out sell the WRX just on looks alone. If you add all the tech stuff you get, it is a no brainer.

Only problem is the rotor glow is a GTS color and that is the one that has been in all of the tests so far.....probably have a mix of GTS and EVO colors I have not seen anything regarding colors yet.

how is the paint on the EVO? because it might be the same since it is more of an evo than a gts.... Does anyone know? personally I have not had a problem even before the hail damage.
