Hi all

new to this group and as the above title goes, just wondering if there is any mechanical or structrual, rust or other problems that should be looked at before buying.

This vechile has only done 110,000klm genuine with full service books and not a mark on the interior.

Thanks Daryl

I recently bought a 97 Pajero LWB with a 3.5l GDI petrol motor ang 65k on the clock. The only issue I am a ware of is that some of the models have a problem with the ECU (Engine Management Unit) and they musy be rplaced. The problem is difficult to diagonsis as a various things can go wrong from hard starting to missing ignition once warm to incorrect transmission repsonce. I have been happy with the wagon with my only dissapointment is the poor gas milage. The GDI motor is suppoto be much better economically than the earlier 3.5 motor but it is still a bit thirsty. I am averging 15.5l/100k where trhe manual says it should be 11.6l. Hopefully during my pre-winter check-up I can squeeze a bit more out of her.
