Its that time again ...
We are looking to finalize our two systems for the 2008-2009 Lancer platform. Pre-production samples have been created from CAD data and we are looking for a new owner of a Lancer platform car to validate our sample prior to release.
If you are not already familar with our program we are a Southern California company and encourage participation of our customers in our Consumer Cooperative Development program. In this program we trade short term use of the car (typically under 1 weeks time) for an opportunity to have some of our great products at no cost. During the development period we will offer a rental to keep you on task and complmentry parts developed on the platform. You will also get the opportunity to provide consumer feedback to in help us put the finsihing touches on just how this product will look and feel as well as the opportunity to evaluate the performance and see the process.
If you are a New Lancer owner and this seems to be of interest, we are looking for two vehicles for final validation. Please contact me directly to reserve your spot or feel free to submit your vehicle on our webiste.

Maybe some companies dont want to give you what you want, It seems unlikely but the nice part of our competitive market is entrepreneurism ... enough people ask and a company is willign to take the risk, you might get what you want.
Axle-backs are easy from a production standpoint but we are a cat-back company. We make a few axle backs as an economical option or entry level option. We do indeed have a cat-back for the Lancer 2.5" tubing from behind the catalyst to the tip.

You must have to weld it on then because as we all know the nearest flange to the cat is near the axel. So are you saying the exhaust will need to welded on?

No ... we avoid welding or any other proceedure which makes the task something you cannot complete in your driveway. All that is needed is a hack saw, a sawzall or air powered cut-off wheel. You could rent a exhaust tube cutter for free at a Kragen or Autozone or if you want the easiest approach ... Lowe's rents Sawzalls.
Simply cut at the designated area and slide over and clamp the cat-back on.

I'm no expert on cars here, but how effective is the clamp? What about exhaust leaks?
