It all depends of what you want, if you want noise, I have been told that the fireballs sounds hard, if you want some noise but not to noisy I use a magnaflow, my car came with it, and it sounds deep, but not too noisy, it is still confortable inside. Hope this helps

Mits94 from car domain had a pretty sweet sounding system on his 1g. He had OBX headers, a high flow racing cat (dont know which one) and he ran 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back to double Tenzo R mufflers. It sounded pretty good. Wasnt to loud and raunchy but it wasnt to soft. he put a video on youtube after he got it all together.

http://www.aeroexhaust.com/aero_performance_exhaust.html

You can also hear sound clips of it on different cars/trucks at idle/rev/drive by/ect.

I have owned 2 of them the 2540i version and recommend to most

2540i - High Performance Muffler

The Aero Turbine Series 2540i is a 2 1/2" i.d. inlet, 4" i.d. outlet with an angle-cut rolled tip. The 2540i was designed for any standard gas vehicle with an end muffler. This is the ideal Honda Civic muffler, but will also fit any vehicle with an end mounted muffler. This Aero Performance Exhaust is the Performance Import Exhaust Muffler version of the original Aero Exhaust design, which was first designed for and ran on the race-car circuit. It was proven on both the 600hp Chevy Monte Carlos of NASCAR, and the 800hp Sprint car races in Arizona. The original Turbine Series (4040) was then redesigned for the sports compact community as the 2540i performance muffler and tested on several fomula drift vehicles such as the Nissan 240sx, Nissan 350z, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra, and Mazda RX8. As the only muffler to have the patented airfoil technology, Aero Turbine Series 2540i is the hottest new product on the Formula Drift/Sport Compact performance, and Street Rod exhaust market today.

The 2540i is the most widely used model of performance exhaust we carry for Sports Cars, Hotrods, and Sport Compact Cars. The length and inlet/outlet diameters were designed to be compatible with 90% of the Performance cars on the market today. Even the standard 2 1/4" and 2" exhaust pipe systems can easily be bumped up to 2 1/2" on the inlet and outlet. The 2540i Performance Import Exhaust Muffler will give the performance and sound that every car owner should expect from their vehicle.

The 2540i is completely stainless steel inside and out. There is no packing or moisture collecting material in the muffler. This also allows the muffler to be run with NOS without risk of burn-out. The racing circuit loves the Aero Performance Exhaust for just that reason. Every other muffler must be replaced after 8 hours of racing, however with the Aero Performance Exhaust, our racing teams are running the same muffler all season.

The hand-polished stainless steel 2540i will give you the incredible look and feel that you want and the performance you deserve. The Aero Performance Exhaust´s Lifetime Warranty will guarantee that your investment is still performing as long as you own your ride.

$123.89

Ideal for:
Mitsubishi Eclipse
Honda Accord
Toyota Camry
Ford Focus
Subaru Impreza WRX
VW GTI/Jetta/Beetle

Hmm, when I did the sound clips search for the Talon and the Eclipse, it said no matches found?

There were no buyers of the product that summited a clip to the company for use. They have clips of all kinds of cars/trucks somewhere in that sight.

I just bought my 95 Talon ESI about two weeks ago and it has a Dyno Max muffler on it. I don't like mufflers that our that loud and crackle, and its driving me nuts. I just want some growl without being obnoxious. I like the sound the 3G GT makes. Where could I find a muffler that sounds like that?
