91 2000gtx Awd?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 2-August 08 Member No.: 62,084 Status: Location: Canada Drives: 91 2000GTX AWD	I just pick a 91 2000GTX AWD non-turbo up and was wondering what are compatible with it? I have a 94 Talon TSI heavily modded(T3/T4 60trim and all the fixins) and a 91 Talon FWD Turbo with a EVOIII 16g on it as well for parts cars. I want to make this car a total sleeper(400whp+) hopefully some of the parts(Motors and Drivetrains) are interchangable?????? PS the TSI has a LWFW and a Centerforce Stg3 clutch in it will it fit the 2000GTX?????

Expert Group: Members Posts: 983 Joined: 21-May 08 Member No.: 58,134 Status: Location: Chiang Mai , Chiang Mai ,TH Drives: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante VR-S SUPER INVECS II , 1990 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 , 2006 Mitsubishi Triton PLUS 3.5 DOCH	Actually it is not a Rebadged Galant VR-4 , its a galant GS-R , the VR-4 has turbo and the GS-R had AWD but no Turbo. As od drivetrain yes they are swappable. The Engines are all 4G63 which yu should kno except for the ones with turbo are the same engine with Turbo , Yu can swap the Engine with the non turbo engine if yu so choose. , There is a differance in radiators tho and a small differance in the intercoolers between the Galant and the Eclipse/talon/laser but it is still montable as well as turbo piping , AFM , BOV etc and the wiring also.

The 91 Talon ECU would be the most compatible . But The best would eb to source a Galant VR-4 ECU because there are diffrences between a Galant ECU and Eclipse/Talon/laser. Especially in GS,GS-R and VR-4 models , yu will most likely have a check engine light but it will run okies, most cases teh check engine light would be for the knock sensor.
