newer pics of the ride! it has changed a little...

its lower now, it has new brakes, a short throw shifter, sway bars, i have decided against a body kit, but i am in the process of making a custom wind splitter for it. i just order headers, a hi flow cat, and a power chip for it. the new parts should be in this week, my weekend is planned out already!!!!!

its this thing i bought off ebay, it says it adds like 20-25hp, but i bet it doesnt do much. it was only like $12 with shipping, so i figured if id doesnt do much it wasnt that big of a waste. it plugs into the intake temp. sensor, and tricks your computer into thinking the air coming into the engine is at 59 degrees. which in turn means the comp will regulate fuel for colder air. (higher fuel flow, more complete burn) once i get it put i will post again as to whether or not it works

the new headers, downpipe, and CAT finally got here!! i put them on last night... yeah, and that "performance chip" is a rip off, i could barely tell a difference, not nearly what i expected, and nowhere close to adding 20hp.

By by ECM... Psst them ECM cost about $800.00 to replace If I were you I'd take that thing off!

And higher fule flow don't mean higher burn it just means higher gas bill at the pump!

You got it backwards more air will get your car to run quicker the engine in stock form is made so that it will maximize MPG and will only see about 115 down to the ground you got 140 to the flywheel...No joke. :blush-anim-cl:

Add all ya bolt-ons then port and polish you won't go wrong it's been proven time and time again to make ya car run far better the ecm will compensate to a point for the extra air being allowed in with just bolt-ons added. :)

You might have come out better with the JET at lest them guys did some kind of homework and it's cheep too

Some people say they don't work some swear by em I don't trust em toooo much.

Ok here it is right at cha no bull...I am in the same boat as you wanna go fast or will settle for quck but wanna be cheap...not good, ya can't have it both ways!

Get ya check book out and write a check to the man for more bolt-ons and port and polish ohhh about $500-1000.00 depending on what ya wanna have done.

Mild cam will take it up a little more.

A shift kit is a good idea too!

Now here's the good part write a check out for $3,000.00 for Carbon Fiber parts this will lighten ya car about 300-500 lbs.

You may wanna sit down for this Ultra light weight rims they weigh aout 7 lbs a $375.00 per rim.

There are Carbon fiber seats on the market sorry don't kow the price but you will be happy with em they are sharp but they don't recline tho.

There is some black sound proof under your rug scrape it out too it's about 60lbs.

You got a sunroof/moonroof??? they got Carbon kits that will fill the hole in just look at the famous Green eclipse in the movie.

You phat??? Well lose some weight! :)

Do whatever you can safely to shead weight off the car and still be comfortable.

Your eclipse (Stock) is about 2800lbs w/o driver.

Some guy took a lot of weight out his car did little next to no mods and w/o a turbo did 14sec in the 1/4 mile no joke! :)

I plan to do most of that I just told ya about but I'm keeping her stock looking these guys in Calif will steal the stink out a Skuns A** if ya don't watch em besides a sleeper makes guy eyes bug out more when ya put'n a boot in their rear ends :gunsmilie:

By comparison them guys with trubos need weight on the front to keep it on the ground with less spin on take off so we might have a slight advantage over them guys we just gotta think outside the box. :trophy:

Weight is the main key to getting a Non turbo to go really really quick...

Me I'm going for all I can get to get my little put put to run quick and I can do a heck of a lot once she's paid off about a yrs woth of checks will have me giving them guys with turbos the blues or at least a bunch of sweat on his forehead! :)

thanks for typing me a book!!! i dont care what you want to do to your car, so dont criticise what i do to mine. you can blow all your money on buying all these bolt ons and carbon fiber if you want, I DONT CARE. you wanna talk about the plans you have for your car do it somewhere else.

you know what else will make your car faster?

- if you shut your mouth you can reduce drag
