I was wondering if anyonw has any idea about what might be the deal with the windows on my 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt?? The problem is they stopped working. At first they started working only sometimes and now they dont at all. They are power windows and one is stuck half way down now :( I tried replacing the drivers switch, but it didnt work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

be a little more specific. does the motor still run, does it move at all?

i'm going to go with the most common failure item with the power windows. if the motor still runs but the window doesn't move, its your window regulator. they are about 225+ depending on where you get them. i just did mine on my stealth. took me about 40 minutes or so. (had a buddy help) a way to check if this is the bad part is look down your window seal, if you can see a cable that looks slack or loose, thats this is the problem.

but if motor doesn't even kick on, i'd say thats probably bad. get back with more info and i can help more.

Had a similar problem a few years ago, turned out to be a blown fuse, easy fix. Good luck.

a commom problem on these is the wiring coming out from the inner door skin to the door pillar or A post there is ablock with wiring, what happens is with the constant opening and closing of the door some of the wires break, both windows are controlled by the drivers door wiring if one of wire breaks both side become inoperative
