Outside. The diameter of the hole it goes into is 1 1/4" (1.250) exactly. The right one should be thicker than the depth I measured, but not too much thicker.

Unfortunetly I don't have a caliper to measure the O-ring. But here is a picture. The one I think it is measures at 1.25". I can't measure the depth at this time but I will see if my buddy has a caliper to measure it. I will get back to you this afternoon or evening.

I put the o-ring I had in. It fits fine and everyone I had over who physicly saw it says it would work fine. The bedplate is on and torqued down fine. I'm 98% sure it isn't going to give me any problems down the road (double entandra)lol. I'd like to thank all of you for helping me out and dilligently keeping up with this thread. Hopefully this is the last snag I run into. The engine looks beautiful so far. I will post some pics soon. Thanks agian.
