Im looking to put my own turbo kit togethor for my 2009 Lancer Es, but I'm unsure of the turbo specs. What size the turbo should be, the wheel trim, psi to run at. That kind of stuff. I need to get a new manifold or at least make it. I've seen a lot of turbo kits for the older Ecplises and Lancer and would like to know if they would work. If I had the money to buy a turbo kit from RRM I would, but I dont have 5 grand, so I dont have much of a choice.

So whoever can help me out I'd appreciate it.

I am going to say it before anyone else does, trade your ES in for an EVO or the Ralli-Art when it comes out. It is going to cost you way more than 5 g's to turbo the ES, I know I have an ES and have looked into it. You will need to upgrade the engine internals and blow your warranty to Smithereens to set the car up for a turbo. Just do what the rest of us did by and intake and exhaust and pretend you are driving an EVO. I like to play "Click Click Boom" real loud when I drive so that I get the whole driving really fast effect. Also drive like 5 mph over the speed limit and that will make you feel like an outlaw.

This has been talked about before.

If you really had to have a turbo'd Lancer.....wait until the end of the month & get the Ralliart. Looks just like the regular Lancers & it has the EVO hood.

That way you get:

More Power

All Wheel Drive

Warranty

WAY more power when you upgrade the intake & exhaust & other things.

Don't waste your money trying to turbo the car...you WILL regret it.

Locked down! :gunsmilie:
