Hey all,

ABS and handbrake warning lights are both on permanently. Originally they would come on (always together) intermittently. Over the course of about a week it progressed to them always being on.

Battery warning light also comes on very intermittently - possibly a separate issue though.

Car is a TH Advance, auto.

Has anyone seen this before and/or have any ideas about how to track down where the short is?

Thanks,

Jessica

On thing , there could be air in the brake system that would cause both the abs light to be on and also the brake light/handbrake. If the brae resivior is low this wouldalso cause the brake/handbrake light to come on and if it has been low enough it would cause the abs light to come on also.

On another note the intermiten battery light , usually when the alternator falls within a range where it isnt charging enough would cause the battery light to come on. I have also seen MAXI fuses cause numerous warning indicators on the instrument panel to come on. Wut it usually is that if people have had batteries that have corroded up a bit , battery corrosion follows any electrical lead and the MAXI fuses are very sucseptable to aquiring the battery acid and causing currency issues.
