Hi all
I have a Chariot Super exceed GDI (1998) Engine Code 4G64 and would like some help on sourcing a suitable or universal Oxygen sensor. I have had a rather silly quote from Diamond Autoparts of £357.13 and that is not a mistake VAT of course inclusive!!!!

Lambada Sensors consider that a 4 wire universal sensor would be ok....although they do stock a direct fit for UK spec Spacewagon, the question is they quote the part for a type 4G64, and although mine is an import with the same engine code would it make it compatible.
All comments suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks

If yu have read in other forums here , especially in the Pajero section. Universals , especially Bosch , as i warn people not to use "universals" these are HO2S , heated oxygen sensors , unoiversals do not perform as oem one do. The range at which they heat up and fluctuate is most time out of range of stoc calibrations. Most people have had issues with using universals on systems lie this with HO2S.

Im not sure if it is or not , but i would not recommend a "universal" on 1995 and up models using a HO2S (heated oxygen sensor) just visit the NipponDenso site or DENSO one , same thing and look for it there , its a direct factory style and is fairly cheaper than dealers
