My iphone works great with the factory blue tooth. I have the 2g iphone with 2.0 software. Pairs up automatically every time I get in the car. Can dial from phone or use voice dialing. Ipod mutes when call / text comes in or alert / alarm goes off, then music resumes when done. Stereo/sat also mutes when call comes in. If your having trouble try unpairing it from the phone and remove the phone from the car system and try again.
