i just bought a x02 front mount for my 1g ecplise and i just need the piping and wondering the bes place to find it.. or should i just go to a muffler shop and try to get them to bend up some 2.5 mild steal? thanks guys

mild steel is better suited for flanges and things like that. stainless or aluminum are the best for piping.

ebay will have some nice cheap aluminum kits. pipe is pipe

look at the CX racing pipes on Ebay.Take those and then go to an exhaust shop and have them make those pipes work.

make sure the shop does mandrel bending. compression bends look like shit and don't work as well

made.. i found one on ebayforik 45 dollars with fittings but a guy i know said they cheap kits arent worth a damn and take alot of fab work to make work and look nice

they do, but CX racing has quality pipes and sells on Ebay. They won't be a direct fit but his pipes are good. And his 3000GT FMIC kit is the the best option available for the 3/S crowd.. which your not, but those guys are crazy about quality and CX racing has it.

their pipes are as thick and as well made as more expensive kits

so on those kits they arent pre bent? if not its cool i found a guy that will bend for cheap with mandrel so im good there. just curious

if you have a guy that will mandrel bend for you just buy about 8-10' of some 2.5" stainless piping and have him bend it for you.
