I have a 1990 eclipse turbo awd 2.0 manuel and for the past five days i have been trying to figure out why it wont start. first i took the fuel pump out and it did not work in the tank but hooked to a battery it works so i hooked it to a battery that i put in the trunk and put it back in the tank and it worked but now i have no spark either im so lost PLEASE HELP!!!

then some kind of relay is busted.

i had the same problem in my 90 talon.... its the ecu. pull it out and open it up and look at it.

ECU looks brand new and its really wierd i found an ECU pin layout and when i touch my test light to the fuel pump control relay on the ECU it kicks right on like something isnt grounded right I'm so lost i have have had people say to try the crank position sensor but i think it is something else seeing how i dont get fuel and spark and the mpi relay is good so im lost!!!!!!!
