I think i should tell you what i tell anyone who is looking at a gs. You will get tired of how slow it is. You will want a gst or gsx soon. Skip the GS/RS step, go straight to a Gsx or gst. Other than that, it looks to be in great condition but you can get it for cheaper.

While it is kept really clean, you can get yourself a decent GS-T or GSX for almost that much. I drove a RS for 3 months, got tired of it and sold it. Trust me there is way better deals out there.

They never said the car was fast. Reliable, good gas mileage, ect. If thats what your looking for its perfect. No doubt there's better deals out there, but this is a very reasonable price for the condition it's in. I'd say go for it. If you don't like it you can always sell it later for about the same.

The situation/problem is he's searching a car lot the upside is you can pin the blame on him should the power-train blow up in 12 months because of most states lemon laws within reason of the age of the car downside is price and that is the reason why they charge so much to cover any major problems that my come up

Private deals are not the best because a judge will not nor can he pin anything other than (Maybe) brakes or (Maybe) a car fire on the seller but the power-train won't be covered in a court of law and your stuck.

I recommend that you lean toward car lots with cars 3 years old or less (You must be savvy when dealing with the car lot and the price of the car and the bank's interest rate) as most of my cars have been bought this way and I have little to no problems with minor repairs...With the exception of my Eclipse and I think we all know the history of Mitsu dealer(s) cust service.

Funny I'm on my way to Salt Lake. :)

*chuckles* I thought that you guys would agree that it was a bit over priced.

For those of you who are saying go with a GST.... Already WAYYYYYYYYYY ahead of you. found a 98 GST here is the ad http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=&nid=443&.../view&ad=777987

We shall see how it goes. I am sure as hell not settling. Though I am certain that my hubbie (Calin) wont be to happy with me having a faster car than he does hehehe.... Oh well give him a straw... (love ya babe!)

I will keep searching till I find the 2g Eclipse of my dreams....

Hehehe... Im a chick ;)

Also... I dont do loans. Any car I buy is with straight out cash. It makes them kinda suckers when it comes to accepting a lower price.

And wickedz... I search Utah Craigslist every day. KSL.com is also a local site here in SLC. It is where I found Sleepwalker.

(and yes... I name every car)
