Just don't buy your tires from them. They tend to sell tires that are a couple of years old.

Hardly anybody does. How hard is it to find 215/45/R18's? We'd probably have to go bigger. I wonder how big we can go without rubbing issues?

I used to work for the Tire Lube Express. The reason everything is so cheap is because te work is done by non certified technicians. So you only have to pay them minimum wage and then they don't have to charge a labor fee for the work. So they could really charge anything they want. But yea the tires arent actually that bud there. I wouldn't buy their Walmart brand ones but if you buy their Dunlop, or Kumho then you will probably be fine.

If you can find ones that are the right size I recommend buying cheap ($50) black rims from there and then mounting some smaller winter tires on them. Doing this will only run you about $80 a tire then $50 a rim. Plus then you can change out your tires yourself when the snow hits and don't have to worry about damaging your rims/tires by unmounting your normal tires every season.

DON"T DO IT!! NO!!

You get what you pay for, and as foofighter was mentioning it's not mechanics doing the work.

I had an older intrepid and paid them to install four new Marshall all seasons which are apparently made by kumho (Korean-yeah). I must have went threw about three bad tires. Mostly from rocks deflating them, a bad belt and once I think they broke my parking break cable and twisted my brake line when I went in for a rotation. Keep in mind that these incidents happened at two different Wal-Marts.
They broke my headlamp housing brackets and didn't put enough oil in during a change.

SOOO....do yourself a favour, spend the extra 10-20$ and go to a local Midas, Speedy, Meinkee, whatever! Just not Wal-MArt.

Haha, thanks for your warning. :)
I am not planning to go to WalMart anyway. I found a pretty reliable shop near by. They helped me to install my aftermarket wheels and they're great. Great people, great service.

Yea like I was saying the few dollars you save going to Walmart is not worth the risk of them fucking up your car! So just pay a bit more and get a real trained mechanic to do the work.
