Drives: 2000 Mitsubishi Space Wagon 2.4GDI
I have a 2000 Space Wagon 2.4 GDI with a 4G64 engine and I'm trying to either replace the engine or its cylinder head and am having difficulties getting the replacement. I was thinking of even replacing it with a 4G63 engine but my mechanic tells me it is going to require quite a bit of work since they are not similar.

What would be the best engine to replace the 4G64 with minimal modifications?
