Hello,

What kind of gains can I expect for a 2009 Lancer GTS?
Will I see improved MPG?
Will I still be able to use 87 octane?
Do I have to send in my ECU?
I plan to keep the entire car stock with the exception of the high-flow drop in filter.

Regards.

Best & only way to tell if the flash will even work with the 2009's....is to call up & see. For the 2008 2.0L, you can expect around 17HP & 13TQ.

You will NOT be able to use 87 or even 89. You have to run prremium......91 or 93....whatever you have in your area.

Bill thought that you could obtain an additional 10% in mileage....but again...it all depends on a persons driving habits.

You would in fact have to send in your stock computer. Best case....you overnight it to them.....(probably big $$$ to do that) they get it....update it with whatever mods you currently have done to the car & they send it back to you. You will be without your car for at least 2 days...maybe longer depending on how you ship it to them & how busy they are. If all that you are going to do is keep the drop in filter (K&N or WORKS..or whatever you have) ..just let them know that when you ship it to them. They will adjust the computer anyway that you want. If yor unsure of what you want....ask them what they would recommend.

SixFeetDeep, sometimes it is easier to just answer the questions when they don't use the search feature, but you gotta keep to the Mod way!

Works Flash

It's been discussed before. And as for the ECU, they only need to tweak it to reflect the 2.4L displacement.
