WTF are you talking about?

1st - Don't install HID's in stock housings, since they will refelct everywhere and blind on coming traffic.

2nd - ONLY install them in aftermarket projectors.

3rd - I fyou're looking for CUSTOM made headlights, be prepared to spend upwards of $500-$1200 for something unique. See here:

no sc you miss understood me man i already know not to do that. retro fiting is where you take a projector housing and lens from one set of projectors like the e55, fx, or TL which the TL being the best and custom fiting them your own why into a set of new projector headlights its a very long process but the result are cool.

Now all of those projectors are bi-xenon headlights where you can have both hi and low beams in your car unlike the standard projectors that only allow you to put in the standard low beam HID lights and halogen high beams.

but i hope that you don't think im getting on your case SC just a case of miss understanding.
 cheers mate!

I know exactly what retrofitting is - which is why I posted a link on a company that does it full time.

I was just making sure that's what you meant. I see that word mis-used occassionally (almost as much as people say rims vs wheels or even say they bought coilovers, when they just bought some stupid adjustable sleeves that destroy OEM struts, etc)

A custom set of lights will cost you in the tune of $500-$1000 for a set. THe components alone are the most expensive part.

That sounds about right. Exactly what I told you. $500-$1,000, low if you supply components, high if you supply nothing.

Find the components, then add cost of shipping to you, consolidate, then add shipping to who designs the lights, then add the risk of the designer not being familiar with the components you purchase, etc.

Screw that. You either have it all done, or don't do it at all. Trying to shortcut shit to save a buck will always bite you in the ass in the long run, ESPECIALLY on custom projects.
