To start it off i enjoy the raider even if it is a dakoda. But the service and custermer sadifaction is not there. I bought this 07 used with 17k on it around 17.5k notice water coming inside when parked in my driveway after a rain. First thought I had left the window down but it happen again a few days later during a rain in the driveway again. Yet not when driving. I took it to a Mitu dealer they checked it out and found it was leaking so they had me bring it back to reseal the windsheild. That didnt work for a week later same problem took it back amd 4 hours later they said have to bring it back so they could take the dash out. So this past thur I droped it off at 9 in the morning I didnt hear from them untill I called on Fri at 4:30 they said that it was all new to them and they were taking it easy. They had to get the informatiom on how to pull the dash from the Dodge Dealership and lots of calls for help. They had the dash out and they knew ware it was leaking from but not the cause said Ok asked about a loaner car thats where this goes south. They told me that under the warrantiy that it was not covered because that is not dealing with the drivetrain and would not be covered under the rules that are set up for loaners. But hello you cant drive the truck without the steering wheel or the dash, You do need it to control the drivetrain. So on monday just before noon I called and they basicly had done nothing to the truck. Yet maybe 2-3 weeks if they have to put it in the bodyshop so they agreed to 1 day rental Im in contact with mits usa about this will post a follow up.

Still no rental veical and have not heard from mitu usa yet been in the shop 6 days one day loaner and looking at another 1-3 days wait.

About 16:30 hrs today Tuesday Mits usa called and said that they told the dealer to supply me with a rental that having to take the dash out made the truck un-drivable and they were wronge in there interation of there policy on loaners or rentals. Spoke also with the dealer and they made it sound like they had the change of hart. Belive that headquarters changed there minds. So bottom line they will fix the leak and I have away to get around. Wonder if they will replace the mat under the carpet it smells like a wet dog.

Well almost two weeks no leaks been some gully washers come through also. But now a deferent problem that is caused from them fixing the leak. Some how they may of crossed the vacum lines to the vent doors Or the blocked from closing off the outside air for the heating/cooling/outside air doors with air on max bearly cooling example 96 outside inside it will be 88. Have an appointment tomorrow at Westloop mitsu so they can figure it out also still in comtact with mitsu usa about all of this. I like the truckyet when I decide to sell it. It sure want be a dodge or mits. I post a out come from the dealer. Still have the scrath and dent from Gillman.

Got back from Westloop mitsu Have to be impressed with there staft. Arrived they greeted me at the service department with smiles and a good morning even thought i was not in a good mood tired of taking it to the shop. They listed to the symtoms and what i thought was wronge with thw A/C. We walked around the truck indcating all scratches or dents on there clipboard. Then they took my keys and said please help yoursefe to the coffee in the waiting room. Was there about an hour and a half. When they came and told me may take all day. When the tech came and called the service manager over. He then came back and told what the tech had just found.

arrived about 8:30 was told what they found about 10:00 to 10:30 out and did anotjer walk around by 12:00 They tanked me for coming and asked me to please come again.

Now about the dent and scrath that i belive gillman did have talk with them to get it fixed. have a feeling yjey will lie again.

So far one good dealer and one bad plus this truck being watch by mitsubishi usa. I should never had to go to headquarters to get them to do the right thing. When I speak with gillman about the dent and scratch i let you all know.

Called Gillman today and spoke with the head of there service department. That went as I expected it would. We basicly got in an argument he says his crew does what they are supose to due. Check out the veicle and make all notations as to the condition. I ask him when they feel like doing it or they figure the cut a corner here or there. Or to just cover there butts and pocket book. As in the a/c not being properly chargred. They did charge it properly but to much or to little when the system put under load and builds up pressure it can not work right its a fine balance. I called another shop an asked about that they said after they have it back together they vacum all the air out and set the scale to the veicals specs on the scale and pump the 134a back in. If is off or if the tech doesnt know exactly what they are doing it may or not cool properly. He ask when I noticed the scratch I told him and what my feelings were that I was afride to let anyone know for feelings just to get the truck as far away from them as posable. So the call lasted for about 10-15 min. Call mitu usa and lef a mess with my caseworker there.

Back again. Well after the last post I was in the hospital off and on for the month of sept. Didnt drive the truck at all. First time was going back too work, It was hot so I kicked on the A/C this was early to Mid Oct. Quess what the A/C that WestLoop Worked on didnt work. Not saying they didnt do there job saying fault still lies with gillman Mits. Well Gave a call to Lone Star Mits spoke to there serves dpartment, was informend that I needed to take it back to Gillman for if the reason was caused under a warrinty claim and they worked on it and the cause was from another then they wouldnt get payed for redoing there work. So I was forced to Call Gillman Mits as much as I didnt want too. Well I took the truck in and it took awile for it to repeat it self but it failed again. So they determed that the line from the radator condenser< part in front of main radator> to the drier which also holds the orafes?<sreen> was blocking up. They had to order the part. three weeks or so pasted and they called for me to bring the truck in. Well On fri 21 nov 08 I droped the truck off early. I Picked it up around noon saturday. They told me they found depri in the line and partly blocking the oriface. That replacing the part took care of it. All seemed fine blowing cold as a new car would. Drove home cold at last I thought, parked it in the garage. I live three miles or so from Gillman Mits. Monday I drove the truck to work kicked on the A/C and it was not working again. Well when I arived at work I was very pissed I called them an had it out over the phone with the service department and told them I be in the morning and wanted to see the head of service and not a flunkey. Well this morning I was there and describe every thing that has happened from day one of buying the truck to now. He was raiseing a few eyebrows to it. He even said there is no reason it should be in the shop that much in so short of a time. 7 times in 3 months cant count sep now I was deathly sick then. So Monday Dec 1st I take it back and the head mech will be working on it and not a line crewman, also they have a rental there for me. I even told them it be easyer if we just traded trucks like if we were doing the lemon law thing. but he explained that only works if they arnt or refusing to fix it under warrinty. We will see.

After our fight with the the service manager or should sy our discusion of the Truck and problem. Made apontment to bring it in. Well on Dec 1st Took it in. Well it's still in the shop and today is the tenth. What they told me so far is that they found a leak in the system. Like I could of told them that. And where they found it coming from. Well they have to pull the dash again. Also been in touch with Mits USA about it. They sent there manager of the Texas Div to check on and look at my poor little Raider. Wished it was either fixed right or they just replace the truck with like kind. Dont think Im wanting too much. Mean time I'm driving a little wind up car from Chev. That Gillman rented for me. It is smaller than my wifes Toy Coralla. Wish this nightmare would end.
