Drives: Buying an 94 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Hi, I just joined the forum. I'm in the market for a used "stock" 5-speed ECLIPSE for weekend fun. I found this on local craigslist. I'm going to look at the car tonight. Seems like a good deal to me. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/792538031.htmlI am not sure if the engine is 1.8L SOHC or 2.0L DOHC. Anything that I need to look for on a used 94's 1G? Appreciate your help in advance!

It's a 2.0 Non Turbo in pretty good condition. This is the first time I drive an Eclipse - it sit lower that I thought. A few bad (minor) things 1.) Steering wheel shaked when braking at high speed. Rotors? - this is my biggest concern. Is this normal? Is it involved front end suspension? 2.) The lady who owns it know nothing about car - last engine oil change in back in April of 2006. 3.) Trunk can't stay up when opening. 4.) Rubber door seal (on the door) come off. 5.) Some oil sipping from the valve cover gasket (nothing leaking to the ground though). 6.) Speaker cover came out (easy fix).
One thing that I don't like is the automatic seat belts. And the trunk space is limited. I might pass this one and wait for a G2 convertible. I am doing a car fax right now.

Drives: 1996 Talon AWD. Built, but no longer drives: 1997 mitsubishi eclipse RS; 1990 Talon AWD; 1995 Talon AWD, 1997 Talon AWD. Seems like a pattern

1. yea probably rotors, normal 2. if it just sat, normal 3. normal, the struts were too weak 4. the car is old, its normal 5. normal 6. normal, the car is old
the other things are personal preference. that's your choice on those things
