i have a 95 auto gs and time to time when i first crank the car my check engine light will flash 3 times, pause, 2 times, pause, 3 times and turn off...any idea what this could be???

yes ,those are codes for when something fails ,like a sensor it can flash a code.You can also put a pin in your diagnostic clip and do a code check,ask your local auto zone about it.and buy a book for the code its flashing.
