so i got my "stuff" today. Im 110% pissed cuz I got next to nothing of what I was told I was getting. My turbo progress I have still nothing to boost.


I have in front of me:

1g turbo head (valves in corroded shape on ends)
(spray painted black)
(internals there, but gears taken off)
Bottom of thermostat housing
A fuel rail
stock SMIC
4 450cc injectors (the little black caps are busted on 3 of them)
2 intercooler couplings
1g stock bov
J-pipe
A MAF that says Galant LAP on it.

I was suppose to get a GM MAF with MAFT on it
A complete turbo head with intake mani
Evo 3 exhaust mani
Boost gauge
J-pipe
CXRacing FMIC
2 sets of intercooler piping
Greddy s bov
a stock shifter
ect ect ect

Im so pissed at this point I got taken for someones garage garbage. My gf is pretty upset we spent $350 for this stuff and Im still so far from turboing.

The J-pipe is like new
The Galant MAF looks to be in good shape with 7 wires



IF ANYONE THATS HONEST HAS ANYTHING TO HELP ME BOOST, please post it here. Im set way behind in money now so please hook me up cheaply. I have the 14b turbo taking care of, but other then that here we go again

ok what all do u need be exact? and maybe we can work out a deal. if nething from my car will work what ever u need and u know it will work on ur let me know and shoot me a price of what ull pay gor everything. i have desided to get the 1g and i missed the guys call but i called him back and left a message so waitin for him to call back. i guess ill take the advice u gave me and part my whole car out.

Man I need the WHOLE setup but not the turbo. Im starting from scratch again. I got fucked. Wanna go to atlanta with me? Im so upset I dont even know HOW I could buy a whole setup unless the price was right. But I will tell you this, Im driving to pick it up instead of shipping.

ALL piping, lines, from TB to manifold I guess. Sorry man I just cant think straight.

pwee has a ECU from his 2g and a 2g tb I think for me
jonbonnza has the 14b turbo and headlights

I just need whatever you can sell really

The evo manifold is being sent out and also he said a Resistor pack? I dont know what that is, but he said he forgot that was in the trunk of his galant. Whatever at this point. We went back and forth on parts and salesman ship. He said because I told him I already had a boost gauge and intake mani, ect, he took them out and kept them. I was gonna sell them, because I paid for them RIGHT? I mean what i have no one would ever pay $350 I guess unless your me.

Whatever on getting bent over. JuGs is gonna sell me his whole setup and Im picking it up this weekend FOR SURE. Thanks bud

pwee- I will need that ECU still. I will talk to JuGs about the 2g wire harness for the ecu to work without me having to wire it up.

Jonbonzza- I might not need your turbo if I can get a package deal with JuGs. I will let you know how it turns out.

its a 2g tb ELBOW,,,, i'm pretty sure you knew that just didn't type it but just to make sure.

ECU and elbow will be on their way to you either tomorrow or fri. I have them packed just have to get to the usps

thanks bud, sorry I didnt get what I told you I was getting. That guy messed me up so bad. Im going to JuGs on saturday. I will be able to do the COMPLETE turbo installment one of these weekends. I will just run all his stock 2g stuff. Now for the turbo oil, do I have to like drill a hole in my pan for it or what "mods" do I have to do for this?

I didn't even think about that one. I have a pan in the trunk of my car. I will send that off with everything else. it will also have the stock return tube. I never looked at it and I don't think it's cracked but check it when you get it. you will need gaskets for sure. it has RTV around it, just scrape that off

so what are we doing? Shoudl I just buy jons 14b and continue to piece my kit together, or get JuGs stuff? You say his OEM 2g setup wont work with my car. WHY

well.....it will work but it will take more fab work because of the compressor differences, oil feed differences (garrett compared to mitsu), different piping needs, etc

no, replacing gaskets is something you should do anyway. they are cheap or you could cut them out of gasket paper that you can find at any parts store

well I dont want to pass up on a complete setup because of gaskets? Im sorry if im missing something. I can mod what he has for piping, or just have my local shop make it for me, um you said compressor different HOW? Also oil feed differences (garrett compared to mitsu)?????

garrett turbos use a different fitting for the oil inlet.

1g and 2g pipe routings are different because of the different frames. the routes are the same but the piping are different lengths and sizes

different compressor because different turbo, see pics:
this is the shape of the stock compressor for your car

this is the shape of jugs stock compressor
