Well as I am shopping for a GSX I decided to make my own little turbo kit, tell me what you think. I'm not the best at this yet I'm still quite young and a little inexperienced as far as putting together kits.
Any criticism/help would be appreciated!

Greddy Fully Auto Turbo Timer
Greddy Profec Turbo Boost Controller B Spec II
Mitsubishi Evo 3 Big 16g
GT Ported Manifold w/ EGT Plug
Slowboy Racing's 2G Upgraded Install Kit
Slowboy Racing's 2G Front Mount Intercooler Kit w/ HKS Flange
HKS Universal SSQV Blow-off Valve
K&N Cold Air Intake

I also need suggestions for a good exhaust system, as quiet as possible ;)
I want a sleeper, not hungry for rice here!

BTW I want to know if this would be faster than my buddies 05' 350Z, right now its stock, he is debating on turboing it, he just threw 2500$ into a body kit and xenon headlights last week, it's definitely not a ricer, its hot as shit! I'm like positive this setup would smoke his ass

1) dont waste your money on a turbo timer

2) get a manual boost controller ALOT cheaper and work much better. SBR makes one for $55 shipped.

3) excellent choice of turbo :D

4) Not familiar with tha manifold just make sure the flange fits MHI turbos and not garret.

5) nice job remembering the install kit!

6) Not too sure about the intercooler.. anyone else?

7) I would go with Greddy Type RS

8) nice intake! but pipe is pipe so just get the intake off of ebay and throw on a K&N filter... ALOT cheaper and same damn thing.

as far as his 350z. mmm.. maybe.. would depend on driver.

to answer your question umm...no. unless you have already built up your bottom end there is no way you'll be at 300 hp running 8 psi. sorry but true.

and youll need a missing link, fuel mods, oil return lines and fab work on oil pan. read the pinned dude

Well the garret and the evoIII 1g use two COMPLETELY different exhuats manifold flanges so If you switch over you will haev to buy a new exhaust manifold also. and as for the psi you cna run, unless you have fuel mods you wont be able to turn the psi up without risking hurting your motor.

glad to hear you read the pinned topics. better than most

the turbo can run much more than 8psi. your right. but what i was talking about was your engine cant handle more than 8psi. well i guess it can but not for very long without it going boom and you ending up with a big paperweight.

woah i said i was upgrading to a GSX or GST preferably a GSX then modding it with this list above!
that might be why ive been getting weird responses, the gsx can take 15psi without huge threat of predetonation correct?
the gs is for sale, hahaha

EDIT these mods are for the 4g63 not the 420A ;)
